Does your body feel 💯 today? Mine sure as hell doesn’t!
Those of you who know me, have probably heard me complain about my foot, or the transferred pain to my hip… or many other ailments that make daily life that little bit more challenging.
I know this is not unique. Nearly every woman I speak to has some physical challenge to contend with every day. But we still have to front up. We still have to work. We still have to mum 🤗 We still have to lift very heavy children… and they just keep getting bigger and heavier! 🤦🏻‍♀️
This is why I do Pilates. It is my glue, literally holding me together, allowing me to keep doing everything that needs to be done.
I love it because I can do it lying down 😉
It’s extremely important for my mental health and it keeps me strong. I can still lift my kids from a running start even if I have to bend my knees and grunt a little. I want to keep doing that!

Bookings for the PLAYHOOD CRECHE are essential as there are a limited number of spots available per day. Your membership/trial/pass allows you to book for one child in the Playhood Creche. We allow our members to occasionally book additional spots in the creche for an extra cost of $5 per additional spot per day. Please connect with Villagehood Australia to discuss this option. Please ensure you book well in advance to avoid any disappointment as the number of spots are limited.

Sometimes when life gets busy, it gets difficult to look after ourselves.  susannah offers group sessions tailored to your specific needs.

Take the time to enjoy and get away from the day to day distractions. Practice yoga poses, breath work and relaxation. Yoga is a great way to improve physical health, improve concentration, promote calmness and improve overall health.

Family Friendly Meditation

An event for all children, parents, carers and teachers who are seeking a meditation practice that can assist with self-regulation, what you think of yourself, engage your concentration, empower your emotional and behavioural balance, inspire your natural creativity and have fun.
Why should you come?
In this one hour session, if you want some of the myths about meditation debunked, or if you already have a meditation practice and have the desire to want to share this with your family this is for you.
Practising everyday will lead to the following long term mental health benefits:
Increase in emotional and behavioural balance.
Increase in natural creativity and developmental capacity.
Increased concentration. 
Classes on Mondays, please bring cushions and pillows, mats or towels and water bottles.

Tai Chi

Originating in ancient China, Tai Chi is one of the most effective exercises for health of mind and body.  Although an art with great depth of knowledge and skill, it can be easy to learn and soon delivers its’ health benefits  For many it continues as a lifetime journey.

The health benefits of  Tai Chi include increased flexibility and muscle strength, greater fitness, better body posture, integration of body, mind and spirit and improved flow of Qi (or Chi) which is your life energy.
